If things don’t go quite the way that you’d planned, embrace the adventure of a slightly or dramatically altered direction. Your lemonade might not taste quite as you’d hoped, but that’s not to say it’s any worse… just different.
If you encounter people who behave in a shitty manner towards you, or others, remember that these people have just added colour to your day and drama to your story. Without moments such as this, our days would surely all merge into the same beige blob of weeks, months and years.
Remember that in any and every situation, you always have a choice about how you choose to perceive things; to which thoughts you decide to listen to and ignore; to whether people and situations ‘get to you’ or whether you can laugh them off, seeing them as part of life’s rich tapestry.
If you take this attitude into your day today, keeping your mind and heart open, looking for possibilities at every turn… then it’s very possible that you’ll have a rather enjoyable day.
