Today, I’d like to share a quote from self-help powerhouse, Tim Ferris:
“A person’s success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have.”
We’re all built differently. We all have our own personal versions of happiness and success, just as we have certain things that terrify us.
But no matter how satisfied or dissatisfied we are in our lives; no matter how little or much we aspire to; we all have things that we would like to do, but maybe put off or ignore, because they’re uncomfortable.
The thing is – it’s discomfort, not comfort, that teaches you who you really are.
And the more discomfort you face, the more comfortable you become; not only with those gut-churning situations that make you feel alive, but with yourself, both as you are now and as you can be.
