I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating, more so today on Christmas Day than perhaps on any other day of the year.
The greatest, kindest thing that you can do for another person is to give them your full, undivided attention.
The other stuff is lovely, don’t get me wrong, but if you’re spending time with nearest and dearest today…
Don’t hand over the presents and then sink into your technology.
Remember that you’re lucky to have these people in your life – irritating as they may be at times; that nothing in life, or the people in it, are guaranteed to be around forever; that in ten years time, you might be looking back to this Christmas, cherishing the memories that you create today. Unless you ignore them all, of course.
