Happy 2018 – Day 352 – Two lives

I heard this quote recently, from actor Tom Hiddleston:

“We all have two lives. The second life starts when we realise that we only have one”.

It’s easy to forget this. Or to purposefully ignore, hiding in comfort.

Until you yourself, or someone you know and love faces a serious health problem.

Then these words become all too real.

And you’re forced to face up to the fact that we only get the one chance.

Not two.

No do-overs.
